This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and how to control your data and/or discontinue contact. By interacting with us online (including trailmixalliance.org), you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
The information we collect about you may vary depending on the nature of your interactions with us. The personal information we collect includes both information you provide us directly and information we collect automatically about you when you interact with us.
Information you voluntarily provide
Individuals voluntarily provide us with contact information when registering for an event, donating to us online, interacting with us on social media, purchasing merchandise, signing up to receive updates and/or completing a survey or other form. Contact information includes but is not limited to name, address, phone, e-mail address and optional demographic and emergency contact information as relevant for workshops, stewardship activities and other events. TrailMix also collects and stores information on events attended, communications subscribed to and received, donations/pledges made, and information provided as comments or testimonials.
Donors and paid event participants also provide us with payment information such as credit card number, expiration date, and billing information. Payment information is not retained once the transaction is complete.
We may collect photographs, video, and audio recordings that you submit to us or that are collected through use of interactive communication platforms (e.g., when you interact with us by phone, videoconferencing, or on social media).
Information we collect automatically
We collect information sent to us automatically by your web browser, including browsing history, search history, server log data, and information regarding your interactions with our websites, applications, or online advertisements. We may also collect your geolocation, as inferred from your IP address.
Our e-publications, event invitations and other e-mail communications track behavior such as if you opened the email, if you clicked the links, when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details.
